Two-time Academy Award winner Daniel Day Lewis is teaming up with director Steven Spielberg and screenwriter Tony Kushner for the big-screen DreamWorks biopic Lincoln. The project is based on the 2005 book ?Team of Rivals? by Doris Kearns Goodwin. Spielberg who has been trying to get this movie on to the big screen for years, will direct and produce with Kathleen Kennedy.� Day-Lewis who definitely has the acting chops and I think the right facial structure to look like Lincoln with a prosthetic or two, will star as the 16th President of the United States. Liam Neeson was long attached to play the role, but he dropped out this past summer.� Spielberg just committed to Robopocalypse, but it looks like�Lincoln will be shot first.� According to Deadline Hollywood, filming will begin in the fall of 2011 and the film is scheduled to be released�during the 4th quarter of�2012 through Disney?s Touchstone label.� The director has two movies being released end of next year: Tin Tin: The Secret Of The Unicorn and War Horse.
