Mia, 21, who played the lead in Tim Burton?s fantastical ?Alice in Wonderland,? can also boast another successful box-office outing in ?The Kids Are All Right,? with co-stars Annette Benning and Julianne Moore. Made for just $4-million the movie raked in a respectable $29-million at the box office, due in large part to the audience?s admiration for Mia?s role.
Co-starring Johnny Depp, ?Alice? has so far grossed $1.03-billion, while Leo earns his place on the list by leading ?Inception to a healthy $1.1-billion take.
And Johnny gets a second turn at the table with ?The Tourist,? which despite insipid reviews has earned $29-million in its first week of playing.
The firestorm of hype surrounding ?Iron Man II? lifts Robert Downey Jr. to number 4 on the list. The action-soaked sequel� grossed $622-million, while his role in ?Due Date? with Zach Galifianakis and Jamie Foxx helped that film earn $186-million so far.
In fifth place we find an actor whose acting future is now up in the air: Daniel Radcliffe. In just one week of release ?Deathly Hallows? became the fourth-highest grossing film of the year at $780-million, and next Summer?s finale should rake in even more. But what then for Dan?
Will Smith?s son, Jaden, also takes a bow on the list, with his film ?The Karate Kid? bagging a cool $359-million at the box office alone. Then come Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who earned $749-million and $698-million in turn for both ?Twilight: Eclipse,? and their other roles ? Rob was in ?Remember Me,? while Kristen got caught in the fallout of the box-office bomb known as ?The Runaways.?
