Recently obtained records show that IRS authorities in New York filed papers in Nassau County, Long Island on March 29, demanding $1.8-million from the 41-year old singer. Three months earlier they filed a lien on one of his local properties for another $1.6-million.
And this is not Marc?s first experience of IRS problems ? In 2007, he was ordered to pay them $2.5-million after admitting having paid no taxes at all for four years.
Marc paid that fine but blamed his management firm for the error. The IRS investigated his claim and the firm were later tried and found guilty of a whole string of tax felonies.
It?s not yet clear if these new debts have been paid and all requests for comment from his Lawyer made by Radar have so far gone unanswered.
