Donald Sutherland Joins The Hunger Games

Jennifer Lawrence, meet your nemesis.

Donald Sutherland has landed one of the final, major roles remaining in The Hunger Games.

The veteran actor will portray President Snow in the franchise, a character who grows in importance following Katniss' initial run in his Capitol-sponsored death event. Snow is in charge of the post-Apocalyptic North America depicted in the books.

Sutherland joins Jennifer (as Katniss Everdeen), Josh Hutcherson (as Peeta Mellark), Liam Hemsworth (as Gale Hawthorne), Elizabeth Banks (as Effie Trinket), Stanley Tucci (as Caesar Flickerman), and Woody Harrelson (as Haymitch) in the big screen adaption of these novels.

The first hits theaters on March 23.

It's a Girl for Carrie Prejean!

We may not like anything Carrie Prejean does, says or stands for. But the disgraced beauty queen has found THG's soft spot: we love babies!

Prejean and quarterback Kyle Boller welcomed their first on May 11, two days prior Carrie’s 24th birthday. Not many more details are available at the moment, but the couple has named their daughter Grace Christina.

Jessie J loves hanging out with her old school friend Adele, but admits the pair of them are ''so common'' when they are together.

Jessie J becomes "common" when she bumps into old school friend Adele.

The 'Price Tag' hitmaker - who attended the BRIT School in Croydon, South East England, with the singer - admitted despite both the girls being worldwide stars, they get back to their normal roots whenever they see each other.

She said: "Adele and I used to hang out together at the BRIT School and sing together. I bumped into her recently and she was like, 'Baaaabe!'

We're so common when we're together, it's hilarious.

"We're so common when we're together, it's hilarious."

While she can get back to her roots with the 'Someone Like You' hitmaker, Jessie - real name Jessica Cornish - claimed the only people she can hang out in her pyjamas with no make-up on is her family.

She added: "I'm able to be in my pyjamas and have no make-up on in front of my family - there aren't many people I can do that with any more.

"My sisters are like best mates and I can phone them and cry and say I've had a bad day and they don't judge me."

Actress slash model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is hot. Fact. Not only is she a Victoria?s Secret Angel, but she was recently voted as Maxim?s Hottest Woman On Earth, and she?s replacing Megan Fox in the third Transformers movie.

However when the 24-year-old started out as a model, not everyone thought she was in good enough shape, Rosie has told the June issue of Elle that she was told to lose some weight. Ridiculous right? Says Rosie;

"When I started modelling, I was definitely heavier. I was quite voluptuous in fact. I had a real baby face and baby fat. But I was a baby! I was told I had to get into better shape, but I'm quite stubborn so I didn't. I can't remember a time where I really battled with my body, but I can remember being asked to lose weight and battling with the advice. It hurt me, especially as my baby fat naturally melted away as I got older. You can bullied as a young model, but there was a point where I found my voice, effectively."

We say good on Rosie for now bowing to the pressure to shift the pounds when she didn?t need to anyway.�

Rihanna suffered a security scare as she performed on the streets of New York on Friday (27May11) when one male fan grabbed the singer and pulled her against a metal barricade.

The Bajan beauty brought Manhattan to a standstill as she helped U.S. TV show Today kick off their summer concert series, shutting down the areaaround Rockefeller Center for her early morning set.

Rihanna launched her performance with a rendition of hit single S&M, belting out the track as she strutted along the road to the main stage.

Barricades had been set up on the streets to keep fans at a distance, but one overzealous devotee got a little too close for comfort as Rihanna passed by, reaching out and pulling the star into the gate.

The R&B singer managed to pull free and continued her show without missing a beat.

The Umbrella hitmaker, who escaped the incident unscathed, later laughed off the shocking encounter on her Twitter.com blog.

Responding to followers' questions about what she had been thinking as the guy grabbed her, Rihanna wrote, "sumn (something) like 'This muhf**ka(sic) better not f**k up my weave' okaaaayyy (sic)".
