Did Lindsay Lohan?s camp offer hush money to Betty Ford Clinic worker?

When the fired Betty Ford worker who accused Lindsay Lohan of criminal battery suddenly did a complete reversal and refused to testify against her, it raised a lot of suspicious eyebrows.� Initially Dawn Holland, claimed a drunk Lohan, 24, and two other female patients tried to sneak back onto the rehab?s premises by jumping a wall but were caught by security and she confronted the hostile star, who refused to cooperate.� RadarOnline is now going to that place many of us were thinking and claiming that Lohan?s camp secretly cut a $25,000 deal with Holland for her silence.� The Radar source says, the parties agreed, in principle, for Lindsay to participate in a sit-down television interview with Dawn.� The plan was for Dawn?s camp� to shop the interview to various media outlets to come up with the hush money.

?When the deal didn?t materialize, Dawn became frustrated, fired her lawyer and engaged new legal counsel.?

When asked by Radar for comment on the situation, Los Angeles-based attorney Keith Davidson said without confirming or denying that there were in fact civil settlement negotiations that: ?It is true that Ms. Holland and I are not working together on this case or any other, and the decision was mutual.� The Riverisde County DA have not made a decision yet on possible charges against Lohan, and one wonders if Holland could start cooperating with police if Lohan?s camp doesn?t come up with the alleged hush money.

Update: TMZ has a different version with a similar theme.� They say the plan was that a photog would take pictures of the two together, sell them and Dawn would pocket the cash, estimated at $10,000 from the sale of the photos.

Their sources say the point was not for Dawn to get money in exchange for dropping her case ? but rather for Lindsay to ?help her out.?

But Lindsay?s business manager, Lou Taylor, put the kibosh on the plan, so Dawn feels Lindsay iss ?disrespecting? her, got a new lawyer and may pursue the battery case.
