New Michael Jackson video gives fans opportunity for starring role

[HMG Celebrity News] ? The videos of Michael Jackson are a testament to originality and his creative flair, but the one for the next single ?Behind the Mask? breaks new ground even for him ? because you could be in the cast.

The suits at Sony launched a project today in which fans are invited to upload their own clips, and the best ones will be used in the video for the song.

On March 7th fans across the world will then be able to visit the singer?s web site, where you can choose the role you?d like to perform in the finished production.

Online tools will enable these aspiring stars to choose a move, a reaction shot or even a lyric they?d like to provide. You can also upload clips of yourself in the moonwalk, that gravity-defying lean for which he was famous, or even doing the toe stand.

The video?s director, Dennis Liu will then choose the best clips and these will be digitally woven into the final cut for the song. The results will then be debuted worldwide in the first week of April.

More so than the fashion, and the winners and the speeches, THE moment that moved us the most was when the PS 22 Chorus from Staten Island performed Over The Rainbow at the end of the Academy Awards telecast on Sunday night.

They really did save the best for last!!!!

The Oscars wouldn't be what they are without the help and nurturing of teachers like Gregg Breinberg, who has been guiding the students at the PS 22 Chorus for close to a decade.

We've been supporting him and his work for years now and it really moved us so deeply and brought us to tears to see how far he has come! But not just him. That performance was a reminder, a call to action that arts education is vital!

DO NOT cut arts education in schools!!!!

DEMAND IT!!!!

Other memorable moments were?

Kirk Douglas, Billy Crystal, the dude who thanked his boyfriend when The King's Speech won. And, uhm? yeah, there weren't THAT MANY memorable moments this year.

We don't blame Anne or James, though. They're both actors and not comedians or hosts. However, Franco did seem out of it and Hathaway carried the weight of the show on her shoulders!

Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy have reportedly purchased a �4 million property in the UK.

The couple - who are currently expecting their first child - have reportedly purchased a property in North London after the 31-year-old actress decided the UK would be a "great place" to raise a family.

An insider explained: "Kate is ready to put down roots in the UK. She is in the process of filling out visa forms that will enable her to live in England with Matt for at least six months of the year.

"Kate looks at the UK as a great place to raise a family. She sees herself living and working from London for the long haul."

The pair are hoping to move into the property, which comes complete with a nursery, games room and guest rooms, as soon as renovations are complete, and are also looking at holiday homes in Cornwall near the 32-year-old rocker's parents' house in Devon, South West England.

Matt and Kate - who also has a seven-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson - are said to be so ecstatic about their new home that they have already taken Kate's Hollywood legend mother Goldie Hawn and stepdad Kurt Russell to look around the area.

The source added to Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper: "Matt and Kate have shown Goldie and Kurt around the area and Matt took them all to Devon to meet his parents. They also looked around Cornwall for a holiday home."

However, Kate recently admitted she was "unsure" about moving to the UK on a permanent basis.

She said: "I'll obviously be spending a lot more time in London bit I'm not sure about moving - not yet! We'll probably split it 50/50 - I do love it here and surprisingly I do love the weather. It's so nice to have seasons."

British star Jessie J feels confident about her talent but hates the thought of being compared with ''beautiful'' stars Cheryl Cole and Rihanna.

Jessie J feels she can't "compete" with Rihanna and Cheryl Cole.

The 'Price Tag' singer is confident about her music and the way she looks, but she feels the pressure of being physically compared to the glamorous pop stars.

She said: "I try not worry about my looks, but they're so beautiful, it's hard to compete."

Though the 22-year-old singer can't help but compare herself to other stars, she insists she is confident about her good parts and accepts her flaws.

She explained: "I'm 5ft 9in - I love being a giant, I was front of the queue for legs, but at the back for boobs and bum.

"My hair is my thing. It's always been this style."

Jessie is obsessed with tights and is pleased she is often sent the garments for free as she goes through so many pairs.

She said: "And people always comment on my tights. I've got a huge box of them under my bed. I've been sent thousands of pairs, which is good because I always rip them on my jewellery."

Earlier this month, Jessie admitted she doesn't have a stylist and doesn't worry about being fashionable.

She said: "I've never had a stylist. I've just had a shopper. And that's only been recently.

"I'm one of those people that if I want to wear something out there I will, and if I don't, I won't."

Dancing On Ice: evacuation after spray tans set off the fire alarms

If you could actually�see beneath their dark mahogany veneer, then you'd be spotting a few red faces amongst the Dancing On Ice celebrities on tonight's show. Why? Because their spray tan obsession caused panic yesterday during rehearsals, and a full scale evacuation of the TV studio, when the fumes from their thick brown slap-on set off the fire alarms!

The incident at first left security staff scratching their heads, wondering what it was that had triggered the alarm bells. Vanilla Ice was in the main rink putting the finishing touches to his flamenco-style routine, with Loose Women star Denise Welch and Dancing On Ice favourite Laura Hamilton also in the building for their practice sessions.

"Everyone was pretty worried," says a source from the ITV1 show, "they all rushed out to the assembly point." As well you would, of course. But when staff atShepperton Studios realised that it was the fumes from the overworked tanning machine another source reports that, "we fell about laughing - this has never happened before. It makes you wonder if this year's contestants wear too much fake tan!"

Funny, because we've already been thinking that for weeks!
