Cheryl Cole snubs her X Factor girls
Cheryl Cole is apparently the only X Factor judge who hasn?t been in touch with any of the acts she mentored during last year?s show. She?s probably been too busy dyeing her hair various shades of red, practising an American accent for the US X Factor, and ? as we were first to report yesterday ? flying out to LA. Anyway, Mary Byrne has blabbed, ?Matt has heard from Dannii, I?m sure the boys [One Direction] have been in touch with Simon, but I know Cheryl hasn?t been in touch with any of the girls.? In case you?re wondering what Louis Walsh has been up to, he?s been helping Mary make an album that?s due out next month. And we?re sure that Mary?s album release and her saying something vaguely controversial about Cheryl are in no way connected.�

Is Lindsay Lohan headed back to jail?
Well it certainly looks that way. Trouble follows Lindsay Lohan around like a particularly persistent paparazzo; the 24-year-old star ? who is still on probation ? has been told by a judge that he will send her to prison. Li-Lo was in court over the charges that she stole a �2,500 necklace, and Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz told her that, ?I treat everybody the same. I don?t care that you're Lindsay Lohan vs. John Doe or Jane Doe. That doesn't affect me. If you plead in front of me, if this case is resolved in front of me, you are going to go to jail. Period." Lindsay has until 10 March to return with a decision on how she?ll plea in front of Judge Schwartz (which means jail time) or she can take her chances and go before another judge for a preliminary hearing before a later trial. Li-Lo is of course on probation for previous a DUI offence.

Alex Reid finally takes off his wedding ring
Could we be nearing the end of the Katie Price and Alex Reid split saga? Lets all cross our fingers and hope so. Alex has taken off his wedding ring and is apparently ready to accept that his not quite yearlong marriage is over. As Katie jetted off to party at the Oscars this Sunday (seriously, how does she manage to blag an invite every year?), it?s finally sunk in with Alex that it?s really over. A source tells The Sun, ?Yet again she has jetted off around the world and discarded him like a used tissue. He understands that he needs to take the ring off to move on, which he has done now. He?s in pieces about it.?
