Elton John Says Billy Joel Needs Rehab For Alcoholism

New daddy Sir Elton John is showing some tough love to fellow musician Billy Joel.� Admitting that Billy is going to ?hate him? for it,� John told Rolling Stone in the Feb. 17 edition, that he and his former touring partner had to cancel many shows in the summer of 2009 because of Joel?s sicknesses and ?alcoholism.? At the time some of the duo?s high-grossing tour were postponed supposedly because the 60-year-old Joel came down with ?flu-like symptoms?. But Elton flat out states that Joel needs to take rehab more seriously and ?do something better? with his life, the Associated Press reported.� He also says Joel should do rehab like he did it ? with patients cleaning floors, not watching television.� Joel has tried rehab for his alcohol issues on two occasions, a month in a California rehab center in 2005, and about two weeks at a Connecticut facility in 2002.

Jane Lynch to discuss sexuality in book

Jane Lynch will discuss her sexuality and battle with alcoholism in her autobiography set be released in September.

Jane Lynch will open up about her sexuality and battle with alcoholism in her new memoir.

The 'Glee' actress - who tied the knot with her long-term girlfriend Lara Embry last summer - will release her autobiography 'Happy Accidents' in September and Jane revealed she hopes her life experiences will help other people.

Speaking about the book, she said in a statement: "If I could go back in time and have a conversation with my 18-year-old self, the first thing I'd say is, 'Lose the perm.' Second, I would say, 'Relax. Really - just relax. Don't sweat it.' For a long time, I was anxious and fearful that the parade would pass me by, and that someone or something outside myself had all the answers. Having finally reached a happy place - a happy accidents place- I want to share my story with others, to let them know things aren't as bad as they fear."

embracing her sexuality helped Jane find both professional and personal joy

Jane's publisher Voice added the book will focus on how "embracing her sexuality" helped Jane "find both professional and personal joy".

Jane is also expected to discuss her long battle with alcoholism which started when she was just 14.

She has previously said: "As a kid I was convinced that deep down inside, at my core, there was something wrong with me - something fundamentally broken.

"I constantly apologised. I'd over-thank people. I'd pay more than my share. It was as if I had some kind of deficit and needed to compensate for it. Then, when I was 14, I started drinking, and I didn't get sober until I was 31."

Before finding fame as acerbic cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in the musical TV series, 50-year-old Jane appeared in a series of movies including 'The 40 Year Old Virgin' and 'Role Models'.

W Magazine Responds to Kontrived Krying of Kim Kardashian

On this week's episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, Kim Kardashian pretended to be upset by last year's naked pictorial in W Magazine.

It was a virtuoso performance, capped by Kim crying that she was misled because the photos were "full-on porn" and then stating: "I'm never taking my clothes off again, even if it's for Vogue." We have three responses:

1. That sucks for Kris Humphries.
2. This is an example of Kim Kardashian at her best/most nauseating: posing naked, playing a victim and still managing to shill for a company.
3. We wonder how many takes it took for Kim to make her tears look believable.

W, meanwhile, had a response of its own. The publication released a statement today that reads as ridiculously as Kim sounds:

"In keeping in line with the theme of W Magazine's November Art Issue, Kim Kardashian's cover was conceived as an artistic collaboration with well-known artist Barbara Kruger, and was a meditation on the influence that reality TV has on contemporary culture.

"The inside portfolio documented the career and power of Kim Kardashian as a work of art, using the language of artists like Jeff Koons ... and Gilbert & George."

An artistic collaboration?!? A meditation on reality TV?!? You photographed Kim Kardashian nude because it would bring a lot of attention to your magazine. Man up. Admit it. Move on.

Last week, we learned that Mexican singer Kalimba, who faced charges of raping a 17-year-old girl, was released when there wasn't enough evidence to convict him.

We were NOT 100% convinced that he was innocent, and it looks like we weren't the only ones who were skeptical, because now prosecutor Francisco Alor has appealed the judge's decision to dismiss Kalimba's rape charges.

Apparently, Alor is not optimistic that the appeal will work, but he's giving it a try anyway "based on the overriding interests of the minor, international treaties on protecting minors and in view of the opinions of the human rights commission."

The National Human Rights Commission, which Alor mentions above, has launched an investigation to see if the case was handled correctly.

We're glad to hear some wheels are continuing to move with this case.

If Kalimba is innocent, then he certainly should be able to walk free, but if he is in fact guilty, then we hope justice will inevitably be served.

Kenny Ortega Off the Hook in Michael Jackson Wrongful Death Suit

Kenny Ortega, the producer of Michael Jackson's This Is It tour, was just dropped as a defendant in the wrongful death suit filed by Katherine Jackson.

Ortega, along with promoter AEG, Dr. Conrad Murray and others, was accused of making Jackson perform at any cost, and against better judgment.

But Katherine Jackson's lawyer, Kevin Boyle, says that based on new info, the family "determined that Mr. Ortega should not be a defendant."

Kenny Ortega directed Michael's posthumous This Is It documentary.

Ortega insisted that if anything, he tried to rein Jackson in and get him to rest, while Murray and others showed reckless disregard for the star's health.

After making the announcement, Boyle added: "The Jackson Family apologizes for any discomfort or inconvenience this may have caused Mr. Ortega."

"Inconvenience" may not be the word we'd choose if sued for the wrongful death of the greatest entertainer of all time, but it gets the point across.
