Cameron Diaz and A-Rod shopping for Miami home

[HMG Celebrity News] ? As was proved yesterday with the news that Jude Law and Sienna Miller had split, romances between two celebrity types are frequently doomed. But the bond between Cameron Diaz and sports-star Alex Rodriguez is gaining speed.

The pair have been an item since last July but the signs are they?re planning a major step ? They were spied house-hunting in Miami yesterday, where a Realtor showed them a glorious waterfront mansion on Sunset Island with six bedrooms, five bathrooms and a vast outdoor pool.

The price? A cool $5.35-million.

This could be big. They?ve have spent the last few months almost joined at the hip ? they shared Christmas in Mexico with A-Rod?s two daughters, then had dinner with President Clinton last month, and last weekend was the infamous Super Bowl scene.

It?s pretty clear they want to take this a lot further, and with six bedrooms the house gives them plenty of scope for a family, if that?s the plan. Alex is 35 and Cam?s 38, so it?s still very doable.
