?Ocean?s Eleven? director Steven Soderbergh slapped with paternity suit

Oceans Eleven director Steven Soderbergh slapped with paternity suit(HMG Celebrity News) ? Famed director Steven Soderbergh, who won the best directing Oscar in 2000 for Traffic, has been slapped with a paternity suit in Manhattan Supreme Court naming him as the father of a five-month-old Australian girl.

The filing says Frances Lawrencina Anderson ?had sexual intercourse? with the married Oscar-winning filmmaker ?on many occasions covering a period of time was in Sydney at the time when Soderbergh directed a play he wrote called ?Tot Mom,?covering all possible dates of conception, including but not limited to December 2009.?� Anderson?s suit said she gave birth to their baby, Pearl Button Anderson, on August 30th of last year.

Soderbergh, Anderson and Pearl ?have submitted to a DNA test, and (Soderbergh) has acknowledged that he is the father of the child verbally,? adds the lawsuit, filed in a state court in New York.

Soderbergh, 48, who is married to TV personality and novelist Jules Asner, first gained acclaim for the screenwriting of Oscar nominated Sex, Lies, And Videotape, which he also directed. He also got a directing nomination for 2000?s Erin Brockovich, making him one of few directors to be nominated for two films in one year.
