Cage and Travolta Might Be Re-Teaming for Two New Movies

Cage and Travolta Might Be Re Teaming for Two New Movies(HMG Celebrity News) ? John Travolta and Nicolas Cage, likely will be sharing the screen together, but Vulture reports that the balding duo, who starred in 1997?s Face/Off, are in talks to once again battle each other in two different indie thrillers.

The first is Shrapnel, a cat-and-mouse action thriller with Die Hard?s John McTiernan directing and where either Travolta or Cage would play a Bosnian soldier who was terribly wounded by an American (Cage, or Travolta). Seeking revenge, the Bosnian soldier later tracks the man who wounded him down and invites him on a fun little hunting excursion, only to later reveal that the American?s trip is really ?a deadly war game?! The film is set to begin shooting in June, but director McTiernan has since been sentenced to jail on a perjury charge on a Hollywood wiretap case (currently being appealed), so they may need to sign a replacement soon.

The second project titled Sea Trial, is Raymond De Felitta?s adaptation of his father?s own novel. In that story, illicit lovers on a Caribbean boating vacation with another couple, turns into a ?cruise through hell?(according to the book?s cover) when one couple turns out to be not who they seem. As with Shrapnel, it isn?t yet clear who would be taking which role. How about Cage and Travolta playing one of the couples? Probably not.
