Fan Sparks Security Incident At Cyrus Show

Miley Cyrus was abruptly ushered backstage at a concert in Melbourne, Australia on Thursday night (23Jun11) after a young fan dashed onstage in anattempt to get close to the singer.

The pop star was performing her hit song The Climb when the overzealousfollower jumped onto a platform onstage and managed to put her arm around Cyrus.

Security officials immediately pulled the tiny girl off the singer, who, was visibly shaken by the incident.

In video footage obtained by Tmz.com, Cyrus can be heard muttering, "Ohmy god, oh my God!", before minders quickly escorted her off the stage at the Rod Laver Arena.

After a few moments, the concert continued.

It's the second security scare for a young Hollywood star in as many days - Justin Bieber was at the centre of a fan attack mix-up outside Macy-s Herald Square department store in New York on Thursday.

The 'fan'was later identified as an undercover cop who was trying to protect the singer from unruly fans.
