50 Cent Movie to Premiere At Miami Film Festival

50 Cent has donned dreadlocks for his latest movie role, which will premiere this weekend (05Mar11) at the Miami Film Festival in Florida.

The rapper lost 54 pounds (24.4 kilograms) to star in Things Fall Apart, in which he portrays a promising Michigan football star who dreams of one day getting drafted by the Miami Dolphins.

The Social Network actor Cedric Sanders plays the rapper's brother in the movie, and he insists the In Da Club hitmaker has a great film career ahead of him.

He tells Wenn, "I'm proud to have been a part of this film. Working with 50 Cent was truly inspiring. We'd have a break from rehearsals and he would immediately head outside to workout".
