[HMG Celebrity News] ? When Arnold Schwarzenegger became California?s Governor in October of 2003 some movie fans breathed a sigh of relief. But he said he?d be back and he wasn?t kidding ? The Governator has announced via Twitter he is about to return to the big screen.
As soon as he left office in January the 63-year old former six-time Mr. Olympia began getting scripts for everything from buddy-cop movies to remakes of his own films. But at a fan seminar last weekend he revealed this stream of offers has grown;
?It?s more like 15 films, obvious ones from The Terminator to remakes of ?Predator? and ?The Running Man? and all those things,? he told the assembled admirers. ?A lot of original stuff too.?
Given the current global obsession with characters like Iron Man, Spider Man and Green Hornet, Arnold?s next revelation had some interest;
?I?m also packaging a Comic Book character,? he explained. ?I?m going to announce that sometime by the end of March or the beginning of April.?
There?s no word yet on which comic-book star has captured Arnold?s attention but he?s too old to do ?Predator? or ?Running Man? anymore, the ?Terminator? franchise is dormant, and ?Junior II? would be a crime against all humanity, so what movie do you want Arnold to make??
