Charlie Sheen seems to be going for some sort of record as to how many times he can hit the headlines in one month.
The latest on the Sheen Scene sees Charlie?s Beverly Hills home being raided by the police while he enjoyed a wholesome dinner of burgers with his friends and lawyers on the patio. Bless. Let?s face it, those lawyers are probably some of his closest friends these days.
The raid uncovered a 1800s era rifle and bullets which were immediately seized by police. This, however, did not phase Charlie who merrily continued on with his meal while a miniature production of CSI: Sheen?s House played on in the background. Charlie does have a license to own a fire arm. However, his possession of the antique gun, seized by police, violated the restraining order placed upon him at the request of ex-wife Brooke Mueller.
According to the Mail Online, the Los Angeles Police Department said that the purpose of the raid was to track down and seize the gun. A spokesman commented that 'It came to the attention of the LAPD that Sheen is the registered owner of firearms? and confirmed that they entered the premises 'to determine if he [Sheen] is in possession of firearms and ammunition in violation of the [restraining order]? We can?t help but wonder if it was ex-wife Brooke herself who dropped that little hint to the police. You can?t blame her. We?d also be worried if we knew Charlie was angry with us and had access to a rifle and a liquor cabinet.
The drama continued when a stalker was found in Charlie?s backyard an hour after the police departed the premises. Officers then re-entered the premises, sirens blaring, to arrest the offender. Amidst all the chaos, neighbour Paris Hilton made herself visible to brave the police, paparazzi and onlookers and pop out for some coffee. Never say the girl doesn?t know how to make the most of a publicity opportunity.
All in all, just a quiet night for Charlie then.�
